Events Programme for Three-year-olds: Experience Picture Books ...
In an animal sanctuary, a little dragon is dreaming of a new home. But dragons are scaly, not very elegant and make a mess! And then there’s the fire thing. ... The cat, the guinea pig and even the old goldfish have better chances of finding a new home. But then a family falls in love with the dragon.

The Lesestart programme of the Munich City Library awakens the joy of stories, rhymes, illustrations, talking and discovering – in all the diversity that is so vital for children’s development. At Lesestart, three-year-olds experience picture books with all their senses, in many languages and with percussion instruments, with singing, dancing, laughing and playing, analogue as well as digital.

The Lesestart programme of the Munich City Library takes place every year in January and February in 22 libraries throughout the city. Participation is free of charge. Because three-year-olds demand and deserve special attention, the number of places for each event is limited, so please book in advance. For nurseries and other groups, events can also be scheduled by appointment; please contact the nearest city library.
